“Chata na Gruni” is situated on the hillside from the main mountain called “Poludnovy Grun”. From the valley it’s easily accessible via yellow marked path starting from the mountain “hotel Vratna”( approx. 45 min.), which is at the end of the valley straight under the cabin lift headed towards “Snilovske sedlo”. There are four ways you can get to the cottage. Three of them start in the “Vratna valley”, one is falling down from the main peak. The easiest way is mentioned above via yellow marked path. Other two are blue marked. One of them starting from a place called “Stary Dvor” (takes approx. 1hr 15min, optional use of the chair lift if operational) and the other from “Stefanova” village (approx. 1hr.). Both of these paths coming up from points with an official car park and a bus stop and meeting by the cottage. Steep descent from the main peak via “Poludnovy Grun” hillside signed with a yellow mark takes approximately 45 minutes.


From “Zilina” direction “Terchova”,in “Terchova” turn right direction “Vratna”. From the final bus stop take a tourist path up to the cottage or use a chairlift from “Stary Dvor”.
